Skinners Field & Trial Puppy

Field & Trial Puppy is a complete dog food, specially developed and formulated to support the early growth and development of puppies.  Generations of puppies have been reared on Field & Trial Puppy and it remains a favourite with breeders. The careful formulation of Field & Trial Puppy ensures the correct level of key nutrients are provided in a highly digestible form and the kibble is of a size and shape to suit puppies of different ages, shapes and sizes!  It is ideal for weaning puppies onto from approximately three weeks of age.  Field & Trial Puppy is also a suitable food for pregnant and lactating bitches, to support the growth and development of puppies, before and after birth.

Top tip for using Field & Trial Puppy

• For early weaning of puppies (from approximately three weeks of age), create a palatable and easy to eat “mash” by soaking a small amount of Puppy kibble in water. Previously boiled but cooled water is ideal (don’t use boiling water as that can destroy some nutrients!)  Leave to soak for between 5 and 10 mins and then simply fork through the soaked kibble to make a mash.  This can also be useful for bitches during and after whelping when their appetite might be reduced, and their digestive system is a little sensitive.
